Today, Honor took a virtual tour and unveiled two new phones from the Play series: the slightly more powerful Vanilla Play 6T and Play 6T Pro. Both have 5G-enabled Dimension chipsets at attractive prices. But there’s a good chance these devices will still be tied to the home market.

The Honor Play 6T features a 6.7-inch tear-down LCD for a 5MP camera, is powered by the Dimension 700 chipset and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The back cover has been redesigned that we haven’t seen on Honor phones and it gets a 13 MP primary sensor. It also has a 2MP secondary camera and an LED flash.

The phone comes with Magic UI 5.0 for Android 11 Play 6T. It has a 5000 mAh battery without a decorative quick charger.
The phone is available in black, blue and silver and is priced at $1,199, which is roughly $190. There’s also a 256GB version available for $1,399, or nearly $220.

The Honor Play 6T Pro has a different 6.7-inch LCD screen on the front. It does have a hole punch for the 8MP 1080p camera. Its performance comes from the Dimension 810 chip and 8 GB of RAM.
The dual cameras on the back are 48MP and 2MP. However, the design looks familiar. Reminds us of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13.

The Honor Play 6T Pro also comes with Magic UI 5.0 running Android 11. The battery has a 4000mAh battery and 40W fast charging.
Honor sells the phone in silver, black and pink with 128GB of storage for $1,399 ($220), but you can double it up for $1,599 ($250). Honor Play 6T.
