Obviously, let’s start unboxing. Motorola has been outperforming the competition for a while by offering a 144Hz monitor for its premium models, and the Edge 30 Pro continues with 120Hz coming in 2020. It’s not an ultra-high-resolution panel, but 1080p is fine. There’s also OLED.

However, there are a number of high-resolution bits on this edge, for example the 60-megapixel front-facing camera, with the exception of some Zenfones upside down. That’s the highest pixel count we’ve seen in a selfie camera.

There is no such picture on the back. But we got two shots – both the main camera and the ultra wide-angle camera have a 50 MP sensor, which is more than enough for any use. It also has an extremely wide autofocus range and can be used as a macro lens. A notable downside is the telephoto lens – the third visible lens is the “depth” sensor, and we had to pay close attention to how the main camera handles the zoom.

Motorola Edge 30 Pro review - tests

Unlike last year’s Edge 20 Pro, which uses a smaller Snapdragon, the 30 Pro is powered by the high-performance 2022 Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. There are also several memory options ranging from 8GB/128GB up to 12GB / 512GB.

You probably don’t need all of this. but not damaged And we think it’s extremely practical and ready-to-use – Motorola is committed to making phones the heart of the desktop PC. And that’s not all that unusual feature – the phone also supports a stylus input. Although they can be purchased separately or you may need to find a suitable kit.

However, there is always a charger in the kit. and as we all know that recently This is not guaranteed. It’s pretty powerful at 68W, and you’ll probably need a lot if you always select the 144Hz display mode, although the 4800mAh battery capacity doesn’t sound good enough.

Here’s a quick rundown of the specs of this international version Edge 30 Pro we’ll be looking at on the following pages.

Design, build quality, handling

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro has a sleek and simple design with no fancy hardware or stylish embellishments.

Three cameras are located in the upper left corner. And some important information lies beneath the aperture of the flash and microphone. The island has a convex profile – it rises to the height of the camera lens and turns to the side almost flat.

The Edge 30 Pro is available in Stardust White and is one of those pearlescent dots that can look anything from white to bright blue. from bright purple to gold in direct sunlight.

This alternative is called Cosmos Blue and has a similar color transition effect. Will use all sorts of shades of blue, cyan and dark purple. All the color schemes look attractive to our eyes – we do not have a clear favorite.

The white back has fewer fingerprints. The blue part shows a bit more. On the other hand, both have a matte finish. So washing is not as dangerous as the shiny back. The downside is the relatively low grip, which is a normal compromise.

A bat logo and a Motorola badge on the back is what you get for branding and that’s all. No pesky regulatory markings – in typical Motorola fashion these are strewn in whatever available space there is on the bottom, so they’re both in plain sight, yet never really in your face.

In terms of materials, the Edge 30 Pro looks a little weird. There are usually mobile phones with different types of glass on the front and back. But usually the newer material protects the screen while the back lasts a generation or two. This is not the case – the screen is covered with Gorilla Glass 3 and the back of the GG5 is covered.

On the other hand, as far as we know The scratch resistance of Gorilla Glass is 3 points, so this bike is the best screen protector if you’ve never dropped your phone.
