In vivo X Fold enters the fast growing Chinese folding market.
There is nothing surprising here. Because we know what will happen due to the numerous leaks that have emerged in the weeks prior to the incident. In vivo X Fold features a 6.53″ external AMOLED display and an 8.03″ foldable internal LTPO2 E5 AMOLED display. At 1800×2200 pixels, both run up to 120Hz and support HDR10+, while the main one can be slowed down to 1Hz all day.

The roll-out display uses SHOT UTG (Samsung UTG’s ultra-thin glass). The display was introduced by the Display Mate A+. There are two in-display fingerprint readers in the X Fold in vivo, both of which are machines. Ultrasonic scanning is not optical.
The ring is an airplane key ring. This allows the X fold to close naturally and remain at an angle of 60 to 120 degrees.
In vivo X Fold is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip with 12GB of RAM. It has a 4600 mAh battery that can be quickly charged. 66W calls – charges in 37 minutes. In vivo X Fold can charge wirelessly up to 50W and charge fast. Wireless up to 10W simultaneously
The camera is top notch especially compared to the Samsung Galaxy Fold. It has a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with OIS for a 1/1.57″ Samsung GN5 sensor, a 12MP f/2.4 camera with 2x zoom (47mm), a 5x camera. with periscope zoom The Zeiss mark on the camera module also indicates that these imaging devices can be used in natural environments. Zeiss modes include Texture, Portrait, Motion. Capture 3.0, Zeiss Super Night Scene, Zeiss Nature Color, and more.
The X Fold has two selfie cameras – one inside and one outside.
You can run two applications side-by-side on the large screen of the internal display, however, you can also use the floating window on top for richer multitasking. There’s also a waist-level viewfinder that divides the screen into an L-shape to shoot from waist height. In this mode, you can also sustain long-term loads with the X Fold naturally on flat surfaces.
Initially exclusive to China, the X Fold in vivo is available in black, blue and gray for 8999 yuan (€1300 / $1415).
